Marinated Chicken Burgers
Marinate your chicken, slap it on the grill, then throw together your burger. It’s that simple!

Marinated Chicken Burger
Chicken marinade:
4 chicken thigh fillets
¼ cup lemon juice
¼ cup olive oil
1 clove garlic, finely diced
1 tsp fresh or dried oregano
salt and pepper, to season
Burger ingredients:
4 burger buns
1 large avocado, sliced
4 tasty cheese slices
1 large tomato, sliced
1 small red onion, finely sliced
handful mesclun leaves
01 Place chicken in a shallow dish. Whisk marinade ingredients together and pour over chicken. Cover and leave to marinate in the fridge for at least 30 mins (4-5 hrs is ideal).
02 Heat a bbq grill to medium high and cook chicken for 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
03 Toast burger buns and assemble the chicken with burger ingredients. Serve.
Dietaries:
To make this recipe gluten free, opt for gluten free buns. To make it dairy free, omit the cheese.
