Chocolate Fudge Bars

Ah, a recipe you don’t have to cook. What a treat! We love to keep things simple…and delicious!

Prep: 15 min | Makes: 20

Chocolate Fudge Bars

Wet:

  • 1 cup ripe mashed banana

  • ½ cup tahini or peanut butter

  • ⅓ cup coconut oil, melted

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 50g dark chocolate, melted

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Dry:

  • 4 cups quick oats

  • ¼ tsp salt

Drizzle:

  • 40g dark chocolate

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

01 Add wet ingredients to a large bowl and stir. Add dry ingredients and mash with a fork until mixture is combined.

02 Press mixture into a lined 20cm x 20cm dish. Smooth the surface with the back of a wet spoon.

03 Add drizzle ingredients to a microwave safe bowl and microwave on low in 30 second bursts for 1-2 mins until melted.

04 Pour over slice until evenly coated. Refrigerate until firm, then slice into bars.

Dietaries:

To make this recipe dairy free, opt for a dairy free chocolate. To make this recipe nut free, use tahini instead of peanut butter.
