Spiced Pear Slice
When I have ripe pears to use up, this is the recipe I go to. It’s quick to prep and simple to make (hello 1 bowl!)

Spiced Pear Slice
Wet:
1 cup ripe pears, grated
½ cup mashed banana
⅓ cup honey or maple syrup
⅓ cup nut butter of choice
2 tsp vanilla extract
Dry:
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
½ tsp salt
¾ cup wholemeal self raising flour
½ cup quick oats
Toppings:
¼ cup walnuts, chopped
01 Preheat oven to 175°C.
02 In a medium bowl, mix together wet ingredients. Add dry ingredients and stir until combined.
03 Pour mixture into a lined 20 x 20cm baking dish. Smooth surface and sprinkle with walnuts.
04 Bake for 40 minutes. Allow to fully cool before slicing.
Store: In an air tight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for months.
