Scrumptious Snack Bars

This is one of the most popular recipes we’ve ever created! It’s perfect for breakfast, snack or lunchboxes and can be frozen.

Scrumptious Snack Bars

Dry:

  • 1 cup rolled or quick oats

  • ¼ cup sultanas

  • ¼ cup pepitas

  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds

  • ¼ cup desiccated coconut

  • 1 cup wholemeal self raising flour

Wet:

  • ⅓ cup honey or maple syrup

  • ¼ cup butter or coconut oil, melted

  • ½ cup hot water

01 Preheat oven to 170°C.

02 In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients.

03 In a separate bowl whisk together wet ingredients. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until just combined.

04 Scoop mixture into a lined 20cm x 20cm baking tray and smooth surface with the back of a wet spoon.

05 Cook for 20 minutes. Allow to cool, before cutting slicing.

Store: In an air tight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for months.

Dietaries:

To make this recipe vegan, opt for maple syrup instead of honey. To make this recipe dairy free opt for coconut oil instead of butter.
