Peppermint Choc Chip Ice Cream

Indulge yourself in the luscious blend of creamy ricotta cheese, refreshing peppermint essence, and decadent chocolate chips with this ‘healthier’ ice cream. Perfect for hot summer days or as a delightful and refreshing treat year-round, this homemade ice cream will surely be a hit with both children and adults! Ideally freeze it in portioned sizes, instead of one big slab (unless you plan to serve it all at once). Remove an hour before serving, to ensure the softness is just right.

Prep: 10 min | Freeze: 2+ hrs | Serves: 4

Peppermint Choc Chip Ice Cream

  • 500g (2 cups) smooth ricotta

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 1 large ripe avocado, peeled

  • ½ cup (50g) chocolate chips

  • 8 drops doTERRA Peppermint oil

01 Place all ingredients into a small food processor. Blend until combined.

02 Scoop mixture into single serve freezer proof containers and place in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours.

03 Remove from freezer at least 1 hour before serving, to allow to slightly defrost.
