Nuts About Chocolate Muffins

Satisfy your sweet cravings in just 30 minutes, with these nutty chocolate muffins. Best enjoyed straight out of the oven when the chocolate is still melted!

Nuts About Chocolate Muffins

Wet:

  • 1 cup ripe bananas, mashed

  • ½ cup natural peanut butter

  • ⅓ cup date syrup

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Dry:

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1¼ cups wholemeal plain flour

  • ½ tsp salt

Mix-Ins:

  • ½ cup chopped nuts of choice

  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips

01 Preheat oven to 170°C.

02 In a large bowl, whisk wet ingredients until well combined.

03 Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix with a large spoon until just combined.

04 Add chocolate and nuts, stirring briefly. Don't over mix.

05 Divide mixture across 10 lightly greased muffin tin cups. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

Store: In a container in the cupboard for up to 3 days or freeze for months.
