Slow Cooked Pulled Pork

Serve this pork in burgers with Asian slaw, with mash and vegetables or top your favourite Buddha bowl.

Slow Cooked Pulled Pork

  • 1kg pork scotch fillet steaks

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard

  • 2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 2 tsp dried oregano

  • 2 tsp dried salt flakes

  • 1 tsp dried chilli flakes

  • 1 cup tomato passata

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tsp minced garlic

01 Heat a frying pan over medium high heat with 1 tbsp olive oil. Add pork and cook for 2 minutes on each side, until well browned. Transfer to a slow cooker with pan juices.

02 Whisk remaining stage 1 ingredients together in a small bowl. Add to slow cooker.

03 Cover with a lid and cook on low for 5 hours, or until tender. Shred pork with forks and serve with your favourite sides.
