Hoisin Pork Bao Buns
Dinner really couldn’t get any simpler than this. These steamed, fluffy bao buns are filled with tender pork that has been slow cooked in hoisin sauce and then paired with carrot and cucumber. This dish is a true crowd pleaser!

Hoisin Pork Bao Buns
½ cup hoisin sauce
600g pork scotch fillet steaks
16 bao buns (store bought)
2 large carrots, ribboned
1 cucumber, cut into batons
1 bunch coriander, roughly chopped
01 Place pork at the base of a slow cooker and cover with sauce. Toss to coat. Cook for 3 hrs on high or 5 hrs on low, until tender.
02 Once pork is ready, heat a large steamer over medium high heat. Line the top steamer with baking paper and place buns inside. Steam buns in batches for 8 minutes, or until soft.
03 Meanwhile, prepare carrot, cucumber and coriander. Shred pork with tongs.
04 Prise open each bun and fill with fillings. Eat whilst warm.
