Sautéed Greens with Garlic Butter
This simple side requires very little skill. Just throw everything into a hot pan and toss! It’s perfect to pair along side any protein, think pan seared salmon, roast chicken, bbq beef or pork steaks.
Prep: 10 min | Cook: 12 min | Serves: 4-6
Sautéed Greens with Garlic Butter
1 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
1 small zucchini, sliced into thick sticks
1 bunch broccolini, halved
1 bunch asparagus, ends trimmed and halved
3 large flat mushrooms, sliced
¼ cup flaked almonds (optional)
01 Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium high heat. Add garlic and stir, cooking for 1 minute, until aromatic.
02 Add remaining vegetables and sauté for 10 minutes, tossing vegetables often. Don’t over cook. Vegetables should be crisp and al denté.
03 Remove from heat. Sprinkle with almonds and season. Toss and serve as a side dish.
Dietaries:
For a dairy free option, use olive oil instead of butter. For a nut free option, omit the almonds.
