Sweetened Granola
This crunchy granola has the added sweetness of oranges and makes for a delightful breakfast or snack, when sprinkled over Greek yoghurt!
Prep: 10 min | Cook: 15 min | Makes: 8 cups
Sweetened Granola
Stage 1:
1 cup sesame seeds
1 cup pecans, roughly chopped
1 cup almonds, roughly chopped
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup shredded coconut
½ cup pepitas
1 tsp cinnamon
Stage 2:
1 large orange, juice + zest
¼ cup honey or maple syrup
¼ cup olive oil
01 Preheat oven to 180°C.
02 Place stage 1 ingredients in a large bowl and mix until combined.
03 Whisk stage 2 ingredients together in a small bowl. Pour over granola and toss to coat.
04 Divide mixture across 2 lined baking trays and spread out evenly. Bake for 7 minutes, then remove and stir. Return to oven and bake for another 7 minutes.
Store: In an air tight container for up to 2 weeks.
