Nut Free Granola

Mix it in a bowl, spread it on a tray and bake it in the oven. It’s that simple!

Prep: 5 min | Cook: 15 min | Makes: 7 cups

Nut Free Granola

Stage 1:

  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • 1 cup bran flakes

  • ¾ cup pepitas

  • ¾ cup sunflower seeds

  • 1 cup shredded coconut

  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

  • ½ cup maple syrup

Mix ins:

  • 1 cup currants

01 Preheat oven to 160°C.

02 Place stage 1 ingredients in a large bowl and mix until combined. Stir in maple syrup last.

03 Divide mixture across 2 lined baking trays and spread out evenly. Bake for 7 minutes, then remove and stir. Return to oven and bake for another 7 minutes.

04 Remove from oven. Sprinkle each tray with currants. Allow to cool then transfer to a container.

Store: In an air tight container for up to 2 weeks.
